Do you remember? You know, the reason you walked in the door? Sometimes we need a reminder. We need to think back and refocus on that original reason, that original goal and just mentally check in. Maybe we’ve become discouraged –  you lost track of where you were headed and you took a little detour. Distractions happen, hell, LIFE happens. And we forget that it’s simply that…a detour, a distraction. The path is still in front of us – perhaps a little overgrown or hard to see, but it’s still there, waiting for you to get back on it. Sometimes we look at others and wonder why their path seems so much easier, why they seem so far ahead of us. I bet if you asked them, you would find that the path that led them there wasn’t any easier than yours, it might even have been tougher and more full of pot holes and road blocks but the one thing that was different was their focus. They never lost focus on the end goal and made sure to get back on the path every time something got in their way. So, pick up where you left off, get out your mental weed trimmer and clear your path. Then get back on it and keep that goal in sight.
